| Got a couple of buddies to help assist me, and I definitely needed two. We dropped the engine with the downpipes installed and wrapped. The clearance w/ the dps installed was very very small...less than a cm or 2 cm. Actually, the reason was that we didn't have a load leveler to tilt it back a few degrees. That would have greatly helped. Couple of notes for those who follow: 1) Make sure the trans brackets are installed, especially the one hidden behind the oil tree. 2) Disconnect the steering u-joint prior to dropping the engine. Don't try to get cute...in fact, it may not even be possible with downpipes installed. 3) Don't forget to have your battery cables + bracket already installed. 4) You may get some very tight clearances from your steering u-joint and the turbo oil return lines. You may need to pull your steering rack to rotate it lower such that you get as much clearance as possible.

(YES, I will do something about the hood insulation)
